Our policies
Read these before you book. Every visit starts from the same promise: you are covered, you choose, and you can stop.
Undressing and draping
You are covered by a sheet or towel the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on. Undress only as far as you are comfortable; whatever you keep on, we work around.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Before we start we ask about pressure and any area you want us to leave alone. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer. You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, for any reason, and we stop right away.
When to ask your doctor first
Your referral comes from your doctor or other provider, so they already know you are coming. If something changes between visits, such as a new medicine, a procedure or a new symptom, tell your provider before your next visit, and tell us at check-in. We do not diagnose, and we may ask you to check with your provider before we go on.
Booking
Once you have a referral, book online or call the desk and we will find a time with the therapist you choose. We do not take a deposit; your visit is held when the desk confirms it, and you get a reminder before it.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to move or cancel a visit, so another patient can have the time. If you are running late, we shorten the session to end on time for the next patient. If you are ill, tell us and we will move your visit.
If you miss an appointment
If we cannot reach you and you do not arrive, the visit counts as missed. We tell your referring office only that a visit was missed, and never why. We would rather hear from you, so call and we will find another time.
Children and companions
Massage here is for adults. A family member or caregiver is welcome to come with you and wait in the lobby, or to stay in the room if you ask them to.
Oils, scents and allergies
We use an unscented lotion unless you ask for something else, and we can tell you every ingredient we use. Tell us about a nut or fragrance allergy when you book and we will use something different.
If a session was not right
Tell us within a week and we will look at it together. If your referral changes, send us the new one and we will book accordingly.
Tipping
Tipping is optional and always appreciated. You can add it when you pay.
