First visit

What to expect, step by step

You are covered the whole time, you choose the pressure, and you can stop whenever you like.

Our therapists work bare-handed, with an unscented lotion unless you ask for something else. They knock before they come back in, and they never leave you uncovered.

Your first visit

A first visit goes the same way for everyone, referral or not. Nothing to prepare except your referral.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Once you have a referral, book online or call the desk and choose a therapist and a time. Please keep medical details out of messages and emails; tell your therapist at check-in.

  2. 02

    Step 2: When you arrive

Bring your referral, if your doctor's office did not send it to us, and wear what is comfortable. Come a few minutes early. There is parking behind the building and a step-free entrance. The desk checks you in and shows you to your room.

  3. 03

    Step 3: What to expect

Your therapist checks pressure and areas to leave alone, steps out while you settle under the sheet, and begins. You are covered the whole time, and you can stop whenever you like.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Afterward

Take your time sitting up. We book your next visit if your referral calls for more, and a short note goes to your doctor's office.

Good to know

  • What to wear

Whatever is comfortable. Undress only as far as you like; we work around whatever you keep on.

  • What is covered

A sheet or towel the whole time, and only the part we are working on is uncovered.

  • When to ask first

Your referral came from your doctor. If something has changed since, tell your provider and tell us at check-in.
